Crémant de Loire Préambule (Rosé)
We find the finesse of the bubbles combined with the greed and fruitiness provided by the duo of grape varieties that are accomplices for this cuvée: Cabernet franc and Grolleau.
Grape variety
Cabernet Franc (50%) + Grolleau (50%)
Terroir
– Location: “La Bergerie”, Champ-sur-Layon
– Soil: chalky-clay
Winemaking
Traditional method: :
– 1st fermentation in vats, during which some residual sugar is retained in order to start a 2nd fermentation in the bottle.
– Aged 2 to 3 years on lath before disgorging.
Tasting notes
A freshly baked blueberry tart will particularly enjoy the company of the “Préambule”. The freshness of the wine contrasts with the richness of the dessert and accompanies the acidity of the blueberry.
Our advice
We recommend a serving temperature of around 10°C.
