THE JURY’S ‘COUP DE COEUR’: Cabernet d’Anjou “Les Buissons” 2011

This cuvee of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon was quite a sensation among the ‘coup de coeur’ jury. It shows a sustained robe with orange shades. Gourmand, the nose combines ripe red fruit and exotic fruit. These same aromas flourish and persist long on the palate. Soft and smooth, this wine is a model of balance.

Anjou Villages « Le Chant du Bois » 2010

Deriving from Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented with Breton (Cabernet Franc), the cuvee “”Le Chant du Bois”, adorned with ruby with purple reflections, plays a well composed bacchanalian symphony. With aromas of ripe berries on the nose, followed by a round mouth with a very soft taste of vanilla coming from of the wood. The orchestra was perfect with its ripe tannins, a gourmet finale and no wrong note.
